- a collection of music and album art

This is a collection of songs I’ve written, and a couple of covers as well. There’s even a couple of music videos too. All produced on the complex software that is the garage band IPhone app! I understand they don’t all sound brilliant, but like with a lot of my work “THEY’VE GOT LEGS”. If there happen to be any music producers looking over the page, get in touch and we can turn these into hits.

You may notice that a lot of these tracks don’t have fully fleshed out lyrics. Don’t be worried, it’s not unfinished, its just a whole new genre of music i’ve invented. Much like a lot of my images, I leave space to be filled by the audience’s imagination.

I have also compiled a lot of my album art, some for actual songs and some for music that is yet to be realised.

The News.

This track is probably the peak of my musical career (SO FAR). It’s a musical collaboration with my cousin Finn. Managing to find time in his busy schedule saving lives, Finn sent over a track with a chord sequence he had come up with on guitar. I took this and wrote and recorded some vocals over it, and the rest is history.

Oh, and I made a music video for it.

TIRED again.

This track came right at the start of lockdown. I had a lot of university work to be doing. I was tired and had completely ruined my sleep schedule. Voila! The idea was born.

COY BEE

Me and my best mate Olly often take long walks in the countryside together. On one occasion, while up on a tor in Dartmoor, we crossed paths with a rather friendly, yet quite shy, bee.

This tune is my ringtone.

The Beat’n’Track

Like a lot of my other work, this creation grew from a single idea. It often begins with a sentence or word written in my notes page. This song sprouted from the title, a pun that came to my mind whilst walking down a beaten track in the countryside. It is also one of the first songs that I wrote full lyrics for.

i think we should just be friends

A song that, again, came completely from the title/hook of the song and was expanded from there. The golden arches displayed on the cover were photographed as I escaped from London at the very, very beginning of Covid.

I used to play xbox with my mates every night when I was 14, Lockdown made this possible again for a few short months. The idea for the track blossomed out of a joke made in an xbox party. My best mate Tom was kind enough to hop on the song with me, a diss track calling out the now infamous Boaz.

Hero (cover)

A cover of Chad Kroeger’s Hero that appears on the first Sam Raimi ‘Spider-Man’ movie soundtrack.

I am dressed in a Deadpool costume that my big brother Joshua Dunlop Concept Artist was fooled into purchasing by one of those facebook ads that make it look like what you’re getting is movie quality but when it turns up its horrendous.

The video still really makes me laugh and the song is just a joy to belt out.

Here Comes the Sun (instrumental)

Pretty much the only tune I know on guitar. It’s just enough to somewhat impress people, before i quickly pass the guitar to someone else so as to not be found out as the musical fraud I am.

Still, the sunny visuals are nice.
